Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: Live & Learn. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andersson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Andersson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Andersson wants to finish this one by submission but Silva is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Andersson.

Andersson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Silva reaches up to try and control the position but Andersson seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Silva rolls and tries to escape and now Andersson has his back!
Andersson is not going to allow Silva to sit and survive in this position.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Andersson is looking for the choke from the back position but Silva is controlling his hands well.

Andersson is trying to stick to Silva's back but Silva is turning into Andersson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Andersson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Silva.

Silva is pushing down on Andersson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Andersson is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.
Silva moves into full mount! Andersson won't be happy about that!

Silva is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Andersson is surviving well by controlling Silva's body position as best he can.
Silva wants to take Andersson's back but he can't do it this time.
The referee warns Andersson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Andersson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Silva lands a nice shot to the head.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Andersson is looking to escape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Andersson manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Andersson is holding on to half guard well.
Silva trying to control from half guard but Andersson is working away.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Andersson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Andersson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Silva pulls his head out easily.
Andersson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Silva manages to mount him!

That's time! Andersson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Andersson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Silva is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Silva and Andersson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Andersson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Andersson has an Americana. Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Andersson is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Andersson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
