The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green misses with a two punch combination.
Green throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Green misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mirarleigo walks into a left hand.
Mirarleigo avoids the head kick by Green.
Mirarleigo fails with the takedown.
Some wild striking there from Green.
Green waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mirarleigo.
Mirarleigo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Green tries to avoid it but Mirarleigo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Green to the ground. Green escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Green throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mirarleigo on the side of the head.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Green tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Mirarleigo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Green is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Green has escaped and now he's on top!
Green really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mirarleigo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mirarleigo wants to stand up but Green is controlling him.
Mirarleigo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Mirarleigo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Green defends it easily.

Green lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mirarleigo circles away quickly and effectively.
Horrible takedown by Mirarleigo or perhaps it was just good defense by Green which made him look bad.

Mirarleigo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Green is pushing Mirarleigo's head away, looking to escape. Mirarleigo manages to hold on to the position though.
Mirarleigo takes a little break here. Green wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Green lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
