Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Payne!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Payne is defended easily by Dodson.
Payne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dodson sprawls well. Dodson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Payne gets slowly back to his feet.
Payne shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dodson defends it nicely.
John Dodson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Payne.
Dodson leaves Payne with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A punch combination from Dodson misses.
Dodson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Payne!
Dodson controlling the pace for now.
Payne wants to control but Dodson is having none of it.

BOOM! Dodson connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Dodson with shots to the head and body - Payne looks very uncomfortable down there.
Payne is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Payne has left one of his arms exposed and Dodson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Payne screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

John Dodson made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'i fight to win. shawn is a tough opponent. now i got my sights set on that belt and will face the winner of this coming up bantamweight match up.'.
