The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stolarek clinches up against the cage. Sagdiyev is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stolarek to keep the fight standing. Sagdiyev tries to score a body lock takedown but Stolarek shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Stolarek blocks a body shot from Sagdiyev. Sagdiyev unloads a knee to the mid-section. Stolarek lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Sagdiyev working hard to break the clinch. Sagdiyev jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stolarek walks away with a smile on his face. Sagdiyev gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Borat Sagdiyev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stolarek lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sagdiyev fails with a takedown attempt. Stolarek shoots in and gets a takedown into Sagdiyev's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Stolarek looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Stolarek is pushing down on Sagdiyev's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sagdiyev is fighting to maintain full guard but Stolarek has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sagdiyev is looking for a sweep. Stolarek is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stolarek not landing any meaningful shots this time. Stolarek is taking a breather. Sagdiyev says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sagdiyev is breathing heavily. Stolarek is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sagdiyev! Stolarek thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Stolarek looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Stolarek takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stolarek scoring with strikes but Sagdiyev is staying in there. Stolarek wants to finish this one by submission but Sagdiyev is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Stolarek. Sagdiyev is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Stolarek takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Stolarek throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Stolarek content just to control the position here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stolarek raining down shots from the mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stolarek closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sagdiyev's guard. Stolarek's corner is telling him to maintain position. Stolarek in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stolarek looking to sit in guard and control but Sagdiyev gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stolarek has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stolarek tries to strike from the bottom.

Sagdiyev is fighting to break Stolarek's control of his arms but Stolarek is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stolarek has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sagdiyev has passed into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stolarek manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Stolarek moves into full guard.
Stolarek is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Stolarek wriggles free and stands up. Stolarek looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Stolarek showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Stolarek wants to pass the guard but Sagdiyev is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stolarek drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stolarek jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Stolarek showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Stolarek throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stolarek tries to free his leg and advance position but Sagdiyev is retaining full guard. Stolarek looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Marcin Stolarek hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Stolarek rushes Sagdiyev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Stolarek gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sagdiyev is trying to get back to full guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stolarek throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Stolarek is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sagdiyev defends it well. Stolarek passes to side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A lull in the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcin Stolarek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Stolarek drives through with a takedown into Sagdiyev's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Stolarek stands up and waves to Sagdiyev to follow him. Sagdiyev checks the leg kick nicely there.

Stolarek has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stolarek throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Stolarek tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sagdiyev knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stolarek performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
