Reis comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Carnacales has chosen Handle Bars as his entrance music. The key to victory for Ricardo Reis has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carnacales paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Reis counters with a big head kick but Carnacales shrugs it off.
Reis tries to clinch but Carnacales is having none of it.
Reis closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Reis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Carnacales. That did some damage!
Carnacales's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Reis lands a head kick. Carnacales smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Carnacales passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Reis!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ricardo Reis.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
