The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva .

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Silva throws a front kick aimed at Silva 's knee but Silva avoids it well.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva sizes up Silva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.

Silva is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Silva is trying to escape and Silva transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Silva! Very nice indeed!
