Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Cummings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Hypster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jimmy Cummings! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mr Hypster! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hypster looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Cummings instigates a clinch. Cummings stalls. Hypster struggles to land a body shot inside as Cummings controls his hands.
Hypster is fighting off a takedown attempt but Cummings is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hypster to the mat. Hypster regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Cummings wants to stand and escape but instead Hypster has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Cummings knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hypster on the ground. Hypster drops back looking for a leg! Cummings is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cummings manages to kick Hypster off! Hypster jumps back into Cummings's guard. Hypster looking to pass the guard. Cummings is adopting a defensive guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hypster stands and throws Cummings's legs to the side, diving into side control. You can see the frustration on Cummings's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hypster tries for a kimura but Cummings is defending well. Cummings misses with a strike from the bottom. Hypster tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hypster has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hypster has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cummings is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hypster yanks on the arm and Cummings is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hypster.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mr Hypster!
