PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borat Sagdiyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clark comes to the cage accompanied by Lamb of God- One Gun. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Borat Sagdiyev!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sagdiyev on the side of the head.
Sagdiyev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Clark.
Sagdiyev closes the distance but Clark moves to the side

and Clark counters with a right hand that sends Sagdiyev tumbling to the canvas! Can Clark finish him? He dives into Sagdiyev's guard looking to do just that!

Sagdiyev is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sagdiyev can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Clark controls the pace.
Sagdiyev is still in real trouble! Can Clark finish him?
Sagdiyev seems to have recovered his senses.

Clark stands and steps away. Sagdiyev gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Clark fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sagdiyev, pushing him back against the cage.
Clark lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Clark is leaning against Sagdiyev and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A left hand lands to the body for Clark.
Sagdiyev looks winded!
Sagdiyev trying to control the position but instead, Clark has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sagdiyev into the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Clark takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Sagdiyev tries to break free but Clark pushes him back against the cage.
Clark lands a right hand.
Clark stalls.
Clark lands a shoulder strike.
Clark manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Clark escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Clark clinches.
Clark holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Clark lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sagdiyev backwards.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A right handed body shot lands from Clark.
Clark mutters something to Sagdiyev before pushing him back against the cage. As Sagdiyev comes back towards him, Clark unloads a hook from the very depths of hell that knocks Sagdiyev clean out! Oh. My. God. That is some seriously brutal stuff right there! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joe Clark!
Joe Clark really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that [WOT] DTK Designs (Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
