Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Yukito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Kenji Yukito has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kenji Yukito !
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yukito takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Yukito counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Yukito .
Yukito tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Yukito wants to take the fight to the mat but Jones manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Jones is trying to break the clinch but Yukito has him pressed against the cage.

Yukito tries to score a body lock takedown but Jones shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Yukito has double underhooks.

Yukito has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yukito moves into the clinch successfully.
Jones tries to pull guard but Yukito holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.
Yukito has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jones after a bit of a struggle.

Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Yukito takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

and Jones counters with a head kick. That will keep Yukito thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Yukito closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.
Yukito bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Yukito wants to stand and escape but instead Jones has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Yukito is controlling Jones's posture.
Yukito looking for a sweep. Not yet Yukito , not yet.
Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jones advances to half guard.

Jones stands up out of the half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones fails to land the takedown.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yukito tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yukito to the ground. Yukito escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joseph Jones will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Jones counters with a slapping leg kick.

Yukito tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yukito keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones fails with the takedown.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jones is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Yukito is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Joseph Jones!
A less than humble Joseph Jones misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
