Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Hogan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Umair Kayani! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kayani tries to bum rush Hogan with a series of wild strikes but Hogan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kayani misses with a double jab.
Hogan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Hogan throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kayani takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Sloppy strikes from Kayani. Those never looked like landing. Hogan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kayani misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hogan misses with a series of wild punches.

and Hogan counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Umair Kayani has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hogan throws a jab when Kayani was well out of range. Hogan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Danga de danga de dang - Kayani scores with a four punch combination! Kayani takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Kayani throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kayani misses with a double jab.
Kayani moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Kayani misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bruce Hogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Kayani.
Hogan tries a head kick but it misses.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kayani. Kayani misses with a double jab
and Hogan counters with a crisp one two that drops Kayani! Hogan thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kayani to his feet! Kayani is in big trouble!
Kayani is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hogan lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Kayani - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Hogan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bruce Hogan!
