The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Matterhorn cracks Knuckles with a good jab.
Von Matterhorn scores with a takedown into Knuckles's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Von Matterhorn looking to sit in guard and control but Knuckles gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Von Matterhorn tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Von Matterhorn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Von Matterhorn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Knuckles's guard.
Knuckles is looking to stand up but Von Matterhorn isn't so interested in that idea.

Von Matterhorn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knuckles swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Von Matterhorn slips nicely into half guard.
Von Matterhorn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Von Matterhorn is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Von Matterhorn misses with a head shot. Knuckles uses the momentum to regain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Von Matterhorn stops Knuckles from standing up.

Knuckles is looking to escape.

Von Matterhorn is looking to stall here but Knuckles recovers full guard.
Von Matterhorn throwing strikes but missing.
Von Matterhorn drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Knuckles dives on top into guard.

Von Matterhorn might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Knuckles kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Von Matterhorn isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Knuckles stacks Von Matterhorn on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Knuckles!
Von Matterhorn manages to work his way to half guard, despite Knuckles's best efforts.
Von Matterhorn moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Von Matterhorn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Von Matterhorn goes for an armbar but Knuckles turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Knuckles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Von Matterhorn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Von Matterhorn smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Von Matterhorn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Knuckles lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Knuckles gets tackled into the cage by Von Matterhorn. Von Matterhorn maintains the clinch.
Von Matterhorn pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Von Matterhorn wants to control the position but Knuckles says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Knuckles is trying to work for a kimura but Von Matterhorn is defending well.
Von Matterhorn gets back to full guard.

Von Matterhorn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Knuckles!
Von Matterhorn moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Knuckles has worked his arm free - good work by Knuckles!
Knuckles is trying to get back to his feet.

Von Matterhorn advances nicely into full mount.
Von Matterhorn postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Knuckles looks a forlorn figure.
A big strike lands for Von Matterhorn! That's really hurt Knuckles and he's turned his back - Von Matterhorn keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Von Matterhorn jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
