Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dave Varner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Strange Bug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bug throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bug feints and then cracks Varner's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Varner down.

Bug fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Varner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Varner has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Varner and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bug is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Strange Bug comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bug has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
