Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Riddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henry comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nobody needs nobody kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Riddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Henry ! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henry moves in looking to clinch but Riddell pushes him off. Henry connects with a good right hand that stumbles Riddell. Riddell circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Riddell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Henry lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Riddell backs up against the cage.
Henry wants to clinch up but Riddell keeps it at a distance. Henry stuffs the takedown attempt from Riddell. Riddell gets slowly back to his feet. Riddell tries for a takedown but Henry sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Riddell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Henry misses with a straight left. A combination from Henry does no damage. Henry lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Riddell avoids a punch combination nicely.
Riddell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Henry but Henry pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Henry is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Riddell trying to control but he's not successful this time. Henry keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Henry flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Henry lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Riddell tries for a takedown but Henry sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Henry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riddell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Riddell takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Riddell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Henry tries to avoid it but Riddell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Henry to the ground. Henry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tyler Henry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Henry misses with a double jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Riddell shoots in looking for a takedown. Henry tries to sprawl out of it but Riddell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Henry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Riddell is breathing heavily. Henry looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Henry swinging wilding here.
Riddell shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Riddell showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Riddell is looking to advance position but Henry won't allow it. Henry makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Henry . And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Riddell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Henry looking for a sweep but Riddell has passed into full mount! Oh no! Henry squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Henry is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Henry has given up his back here. Will Riddell look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Riddell has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Henry has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's one minute gone in the round. Henry has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Henry is breathing heavily. Henry is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Henry controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Riddell lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Riddell.

Henry stands up over Riddell, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Riddell bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henry 's guard. Henry lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Riddell passes easily into side control. Nice work. Riddell connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Henry some visible discomfort.
Henry tries to improve position but can't. Henry pushes Riddell away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Riddell gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Riddell wants to control for a moment but Henry uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Henry decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Henry misses with a double jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Henry lands with a nice combination. Riddell backs away looking to recover. Henry is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A nice inside leg kick there by Henry . That's going to slow Riddell down. Henry wants to clinch up but Riddell keeps it at a distance. Henry looks to land a combination but Riddell avoids it well. Henry throws a head kick but Riddell moves out of range.

Riddell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Riddell fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Riddell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Henry wants to clinch. Riddell keeps the fight on the outside. Henry is looking to clinch but Riddell is avoiding it.

Mike Riddell dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Henry wants to clinch up but Riddell keeps it at a distance. Riddell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Henry counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Henry . Riddell blocking some punches.
Henry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Good exchange - Henry coming out on top. Henry misses with a wild combination.
Henry tries to close the distance and clinch but Riddell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Henry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Riddell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Henry throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Riddell misses with a takedown attempt and Henry counters with a straight right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henry throws a nice looking combination but Riddell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Henry tries to clinch there but Riddell circles away.
Riddell doesn't succeed with the takedown and Henry counters with a series of strikes. Riddell will be more careful next time no doubt. Riddell blocks the body kick.
Henry throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Riddell. Henry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Riddell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Henry moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Riddell misses with a takedown and Henry counters with a head kick. Henry tries to clinch but Riddell is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Riddell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Henry as he jumps to the side. Henry throws a series of punches but Riddell moves out of range. Riddell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Henry is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. A head punch blocked on the inside by Riddell. Henry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Henry throws a body kick that misses. Henry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Riddell manages to avoid it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Henry lands with a nice body kick. Henry throws a head kick but Riddell moves out of range.
Henry lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Riddell backs up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyler Henry comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Henry has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
