Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Braxton Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steel Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn has chosen Never Get Caught as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steel Penn! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Jones scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Steel Penn has been cut. Jones tries to clinch but Penn is having none of it. Jones moves into the clinch. Penn tries to pull guard but Jones won't allow it.
Jones lands a hook to the side of the head. Penn prevents the takedown attempt.
Jones changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Penn fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones misses with a wild combination.

Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Penn. Penn gets slowly back to his feet. Jones moves into the clinch. Jones presses Penn against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Jones throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Penns head. Penn is trying to pull guard but Jones has him pressed against the cage. Braxton Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steel Penn. A right hook to the body lands for Jones.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn takes a shot to the head. Jones lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Penn or not. Penn looks winded! This has been an exciting period of action! Penn has Jones pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jones manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Jones has Penn pushed against the cage. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Penn has eaten all the pies! A short body shot lands from Jones as the two fighters clinch.

Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Penn avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jones lands a hook to the side of the head. Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Penn pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jones turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones manages to end up in side control. Jones throws a strike aimed at the side of Penn's head but Penn avoids it well. Penn tries to improve position but can't. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Penn on the ground. Jones tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to stand but Penn is controlling his arm. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Penn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Penn is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Penn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Penn stops Jones from passing to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn manages to get back to half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Penn can do anything to dispel that myth. Penn is positioning himself well to prevent Jones advancing to mount. Penn is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jones gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Penn dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard. Penn trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Penn working some strikes from top position.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Penn's corner. There ya go! There ya go! It's a sloppy attempt though and Penn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Penn trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Penn drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Penn as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jones screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Penn! Nice submission victory there!

As Steel Penn got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Run with it, when Im still here and playing months from now you will be the one with egg on your face.'.
