Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Logan McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwight Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard has chosen Superman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dwight Howard will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dwight Howard!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
McDaniel is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
McDaniel keeping moving, preventing Howard from controlling successfully.
Howard gets to his feet. McDaniel looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
McDaniel connects with a nice looking jab.
Howard walks into a left hand.
Dwight Howard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howard gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McDaniel.
McDaniel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Howard.
McDaniel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Howard just misses with a punch to the body.

Howard tries to clinch but fails miserably
and McDaniel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McDaniel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Howard.
Howard tries to clinch but McDaniel moves out of range.
McDaniel works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
McDaniel cracks Howard with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
McDaniel connects with a jab.
Howard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Howard rushes McDaniel and presses him up against the cage.
Howard's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Howard is rocked!
It looks like Dwight Howard has been cut.
McDaniel connects with a knee to the head.
Howard is still on wobbly legs! Can McDaniel finish him?
McDaniel manages to break the clinch.
McDaniel cracks Howard with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Howard tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McDaniel pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Howard is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Logan McDaniel!
