Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanprado moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Vanprado should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vanprado's waist but Vanprado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vanprado napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Silva is trying to get an arm triangle but Vanprado is defending well.
Silva has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Vanprado sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Vanprado looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Silva seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Vanprado is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
