Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murray kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is KO muzik. Lee Murray has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Murray! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Spencer! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murray clinches up with Spencer and pushes him back against the ropes. Murray is trying to break free. Spencer prevents a body shot from Murray. Spencer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Murray thuds his right hand into Spencer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Spencer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Murray throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spencer. Spencer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Murray regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Spencer. Murray working a defensive guard here.
Spencer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Murray swivels though and keeps the full guard. Spencer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spencer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Murray has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Spencer has managed to get both his arms back between Murray's legs - danger averted. Spencer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Murray works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Spencer sitting in guard here, content to control. Murray working for a triangle but Spencer defends it easily.
Spencer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Spencer stopping the sweep attempt from Murray. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Spencer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Spencer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murray working for a triangle but Spencer defends it easily.
Spencer trying to control the position from guard on top but Murray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Spencer stopping the sweep attempt from Murray. Murray is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Murray keeping moving, preventing Spencer from controlling successfully. Spencer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murray is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Spencer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Murray is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Spencer has managed to free his arm - good work. Murray is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Spencer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Murray is just content to waste time from the top position. Spencer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Spencer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Murray keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murray is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Spencer looking to finish Murray with some ground and pound. This is bad for Murray! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Murray is wriggling around trying to escape.
Spencer lands a nice shot to the head. Spencer lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Murray hang on? Spencer is in the full mount, landing strikes. Murray tries to hold on but Spencer postures up. Murray is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Spencer raining down hammerfists from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Chad Spencer will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A shot to the liver by Murray. Beautiful body shot. Spencer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Murray sees it coming and avoids it easily. Spencer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Spencer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Decent striking displayed by Murray there. Spencer takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Spencer slips a straight right by Murray. Spencer misses the shot to the body. Murray thows a body shot but no joy. Spencer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murray manages to avoid it. Spencer looks to score with a jab to the body but Murray is just out of range. Murray misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Spencer.
Spencer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Spencer misses with a looping left. Murray stalks Spencer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Spencer's face. Spencer staggers backwards, shaken. Murray misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spencer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Murray swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Spencer. Spencer walks straight into a right hand from Murray - that's dropped him! Murray jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Spencer from any more punishment! Spencer complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Lee Murray! Lee Murray retains his light heavyweight title! After winning the bout, Lee Murray thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
