Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaime Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shanir Shackioorhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferguson's entrance music is "I'm A Boss" By Meek Mill & Rick Ross. A fine choice. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaime Ferguson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shanir Shackioorhan! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shackioorhan shoots in for a takedown but Ferguson shows good takedown defense. Shackioorhan closes the distance and clinches up with Ferguson, looking for a takedown. Shackioorhan pushes Ferguson against the ropes but Ferguson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Shackioorhan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Shackioorhan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jaime Ferguson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ferguson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Shackioorhan shoots in for a takedown but Ferguson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jaime Ferguson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shanir Shackioorhan. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ferguson stuffs the takedown. Ferguson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shackioorhan. Ferguson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Shackioorhan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferguson tries to avoid it but Shackioorhan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferguson to the ground. Ferguson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Ferguson leaves Shackioorhan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Shackioorhan lands with an uppercut that bounces Ferguson off the ropes and back into range. Shackioorhan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ferguson wants to break free but Shackioorhan has control.
Shackioorhan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Ferguson to keep the fight standing. Ferguson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Shackioorhan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ferguson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Shackioorhan pulls guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Ferguson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Shackioorhan's guard. Ferguson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Shackioorhan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ferguson is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shackioorhan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ferguson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ferguson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ferguson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shackioorhan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ferguson has managed to get both his arms back between Shackioorhan's legs - danger averted. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ferguson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Shackioorhan has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ferguson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Shackioorhan has tightened it up now! Ferguson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Shanir Shackioorhan! After winning the bout, Shanir Shackioorhan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
