Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Dunne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Graham Who Dat!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Who Dat fails with the takedown

and Dunne counters with a crisp one two that drops Who Dat! Dunne thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Who Dat to his feet! Who Dat is in big trouble!


Who Dat is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Who Dat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dunne avoids it really well and circles away.
Who Dat is still on wobbly legs! Can Dunne finish him?
Who Dat changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dunne tries to avoid it but Who Dat manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dunne to the ground. Dunne escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jay Dunne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Graham Who Dat.

Dunne closes the distance and clinches.
Who Dat seems to have recovered his senses.
Dunne trying to land knees to the body.
Dunne lands a hook that snaps the head of Who Dat backwards.

and Who Dat counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dunne!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Who Dat looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Who Dat jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dunne manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Who Dat scores with a couple of short elbows.
Who Dat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Who Dat throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Who Dat tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Who Dat has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Who Dat tries for a kimura but Dunne is defending well.

Who Dat goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dunne rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Who Dat's guard! Nice work there by Dunne!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dunne wants to stand but Who Dat is controlling his posture from full guard.
Who Dat manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dunne manages to get himself to full guard.
Who Dat is looking to work some ground and pound but Dunne has wrist control.

Who Dat is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Who Dat wants to pass the guard but Dunne is keeping the position.
Dunne is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Who Dat is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Who Dat is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dunne is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dunne has escaped and now he's on top!
Dunne wants to stand but Who Dat is controlling his posture from full guard.
Who Dat has control of Dunne's left arm, preventing Dunne from doing any damage.
Dunne has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dunne is looking to stand up but Who Dat won't let him.

Who Dat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dunne pushes Who Dat off looking to stand but Who Dat dives back in and keeps control.
Who Dat works his way into side control.
Dunne is trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Who Dat creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Who Dat has hold of Dunne's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dunne tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Who Dat cranks the arm and Dunne screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dunne, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
