The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez lands with a nice body kick.
Bo is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Velasquez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Velasquez throws a leg kick which misses Bo's front leg but catches the back leg as Bo tries to avoid it.
Velasquez jabs at Bo's body.
Bo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Velasquez lands a big uppercut and Bo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bo looks OK. Velasquez waves Bo back to his feet!
Bo is rocked!
It looks like De Bo has been cut.
Look low, kick high! Velasquez uses the oldest trick in the book to send Bo tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Velasquez is absolutely delighted - when Bo wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Juan Velasquez!
