Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lolo Delaroca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Moneybags! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delaroca shoots in for a takedown but Moneybags shows good takedown defense. Delaroca takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Delaroca slips under a jab from Moneybags. Moneybags drives through and clinches with Delaroca against the cage.
Delaroca tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Moneybags goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Moneybags stops a takedown attempt from Delaroca.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lolo Delaroca. That's going to take a lot out of him. Delaroca tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Moneybags smiles and moves away.
Delaroca shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Moneybags is trying to defend but Delaroca finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Delaroca not landing any meaningful shots this time. Delaroca is thwarting Moneybags's attempts to control the position. Delaroca landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moneybags is looking for a sweep. Delaroca is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Delaroca seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moneybags does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Delaroca is looking for a kimura but Moneybags is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Delaroca to get the leverage. Delaroca thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Moneybags's head. Moneybags trying to control here.
Delaroca is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Moneybags is in trouble now - Delaroca has advanced to mount! Delaroca scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Moneybags is rocked! Moneybags really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delaroca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Delaroca with shots to the head and body - Moneybags looks very uncomfortable down there. Moneybags is still in real trouble! Can Delaroca finish him? Oooooh, big shot lands for Delaroca! Moneybags is hurt baaadly! Delaroca is firing away with more strikes - Moneybags is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
