Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Piere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piere moves away from the strike by Bones.
Piere lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Jonathan Bones has been cut.
Jonathan Bones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Piere feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Piere wants to pass the guard but Bones is keeping the position.

Nice takedown defense from Piere. No joy for Bones on that attempt.
Piere gets caught flat footed, as Bones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bones stays in close to Piere's body and controls the position.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Piere gets tackled into the cage by Bones. Bones maintains the clinch.

Bones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Piere is pushing down on Bones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bones is fighting to maintain full guard but Piere has managed to sneak the leg through.

Piere really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

BOOM! Piere connects with a massive shot to the dome!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
