Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Bledsoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Reyes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drake Bledsoe! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bledsoe throws a head kick but Reyes moves out of range.
Drake Bledsoe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reyes closes the distance and clinches up with Bledsoe, looking for a takedown. Reyes pushes Bledsoe against the cage but Bledsoe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bledsoe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reyes swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bledsoe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Reyes counters by moving into the clinch. Bledsoe looking for a takedown. Reyes prevents Bledsoe from breaking the clinch. Bledsoe pressing his opponent against the cage. Bledsoe has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reyes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Nick Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drake Bledsoe. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bledsoe pressing his opponent against the cage. Bledsoe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bledsoe swats away the attempt to clinch by Reyes. Bledsoe with a poor takedown and Reyes counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bledsoe! Reyes working for a submission but Bledsoe is keeping him at bay. Reyes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bledsoe has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bledsoe! Bledsoe is posturing up here but Reyes has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bledsoe tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bledsoe has to tap! Slick submission there by Reyes!
