Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vick Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Milat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vick Armstrong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vick Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ivan Milat!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Milat counter with a right hand.
Armstrong misses with a few strikes there.
Milat misses with a straight left.
Milat scores with a hook to the body. Armstrong takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Milat walks into a straight right hand from Armstrong.
Armstrong stalks Milat and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Milat's face. Milat staggers backwards, shaken.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Armstrong slips under a jab.
Armstrong tries to move into range but Milat moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Armstrong takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Armstrong. Milat does a little dance to reset his feet.
Milat throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Armstrong doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A combination from Milat does no damage.
Armstrong throws a right and a left that both miss.
Milat wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Milat scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Armstrong doesn't seem bothered though.
Armstrong misses with a wild combination.
A shot to the body from Armstrong misses
and Milat counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Milat connects with a body shot.
Vick Armstrong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Armstrong does no damage.
Armstrong is breathing heavily.
Milat moves away from the strike by Armstrong.
Milat looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Milat avoids a punch combination nicely.
Milat bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Armstrong's head backwards.
Armstrong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Armstrong is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Milat closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Armstrong out cold! Armstrong corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ivan Milat!
After winning the bout, Ivan Milat thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
