Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jean Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Kiedis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Charles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Kiedis! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kiedis throws a push kick but Charles slaps the foot to one side. Charles ducks under a wild hook from Kiedis. Charles misses with a hook. Kiedis ducked under it nicely. Kiedis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Charles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kiedis circles away quickly and effectively. Charles moves forwards but Kiedis connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kiedis dives in and grabs Charles's left leg, looking for a takedown. Charles pushes down on Kiedis's head and hops out. Kiedis tries to clinch but Charles is having none of it. Kiedis misses with a combination
and Charles counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Charles misses with a low kick. Charles scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A thudding body kick lands there by Charles!
Kiedis misses with a right hand and Charles counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kiedis works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles tries to close the distance and clinch but Kiedis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kiedis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Charles as he avoids it easily. Kiedis has a takedown stuffed. Jean Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Kiedis. Charles swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Charles lands a really nice looking cross but Kiedis seems unphased.
Charles closes the distance and pushes Kiedis back into the cage. Charles utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Kiedis is trying to maintain a safe position but Charles gets an underhook and turns Kiedis into the cage. Kiedis takes a shot to the head. Kiedis is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Charles with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

A frustrated look appears on Kiedis's face as he tries to break the clinch. Charles tries to work over Kiedis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kiedis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Charles lands with a light punch inside. Charles tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kiedis is looking to take this one to the mat. Kiedis has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Charles regains guard immediately. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Kiedis wants to control from the top but Charles keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kiedis wants to get up but he can't break Charles's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Charles dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kiedis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Kiedis lands with a nice body punch. Kiedis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Charles but Charles pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kiedis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kiedis lands with a right hand. Kiedis tries to clinch but Charles moves out of range. Kiedis has a takedown stuffed. Kiedis ducks right into an uppercut from Charles. Charles scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kiedis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charles defends it nicely. Jean Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Kiedis. Charles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kiedis paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Charles shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Charles wants to slow Kiedis down by chopping away at his legs. Anthony Kiedis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Charles looks to land a combination but Kiedis avoids it well. Charles swats away the attempt to clinch by Kiedis. Charles stuffs the takedown. Charles drives through and clinches with Kiedis against the cage.

Jean Charles has scored more points in the clinch so far. Charles tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. A frustrated look appears on Kiedis's face as he tries to break the clinch. Charles lands a shot to the body. Charles lands with a right to the head. Charles throws a punch but it's blocked by Kiedis. Charles tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kiedis's elbow. Kiedis is trying to stall.
Kiedis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Charles is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Charles throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kiediss head. Kiedis breaks from the clinch.

Kiedis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Charles throws a wild body kick that Kiedis sees coming a mile off. Kiedis fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice defenses there by Charles. Kiedis moves in looking to clinch but Charles pushes him off. Charles connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kiedis. Kiedis circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Kiedis with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kiedis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kiedis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Charles is desperately trying to improve his position but Kiedis has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiedis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Charles is looking to escape. Kiedis is trying to take his opponent's back.
Kiedis trying to control but he's not successful this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Charles wants to control but Kiedis is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jean Charles will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Kiedis checks a low kick from Charles. Kiedis misses the jab. Kiedis is looking to clinch but Charles is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Charles wants it to stay on the feet. Jean Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Kiedis. Kiedis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Charles's guard. Charles is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kiedis wants to pass the guard but Charles is keeping the position. Kiedis stands and steps away. Charles gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kiedis tries to close the distance and clinch but Charles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kiedis throws a sloppy head kick and Charles counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Kiedis fails with the takedown. Jean Charles is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kiedis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charles throws out a loose jab but Kiedis uses good head movement to avoid it. Kiedis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kiedis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Charles tries to avoid it but Kiedis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Charles to the ground. Charles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kiedis moves forwards but Charles connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kiedis tries to keep at a distance but Charles has taken the fight into the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kiedis is working for takedown but Charles is calmly controlling the position for now. Kiedis avoiding damage as Charles throws knees to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiedis is trying to break free. Kiedis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Anthony Kiedis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Charles walks into a stiff left hand from Kiedis. Charles moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kiedis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Charles sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Charles - that will leave a mark!

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jean Charles. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Charles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
