Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raul Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbosa comes to the cage accompanied by Kick in the Door. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raul Barbosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Drysdale! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barbosa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barbosa gets the takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Barbosa working away. Barbosa throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. You can see the frustration on Drysdale's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Drysdale regains half guard. Barbosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drysdale on the ground. Barbosa is working for a submission of some sort.
Drysdale moves into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drysdale looking to control.
Drysdale tries to land a sweep but no joy. Barbosa trying to control the position from guard on top but Drysdale is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Drysdale throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Barbosa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Drysdale is proving hard to escape from. Barbosa wants to stand and escape but instead Drysdale has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barbosa can't keep his opponent in guard - Drysdale advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Drysdale sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Barbosa defending well though. Barbosa is breathing heavily. Drysdale is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Barbosa is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
