Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yashigawa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alves defends it nicely.
Yashigawa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alves tries to avoid it but Yashigawa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alves to the ground. Alves escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yashigawa misses with a takedown attempt
and Alves counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Cassio Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koyomuki Yashigawa.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Yashigawa keeping moving, preventing Alves from controlling successfully.
Alves controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Alves slips nicely into half guard.
Yashigawa wants to get back to his feet.
Alves is controlling the pace.

Alves is keen to just control but Yashigawa is a slippery customer.
Alves is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yashigawa is just riding it out for now. Alves eventually gives up the hold.
Alves seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Alves is trying to control the action in half guard but Yashigawa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cassio Alves has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Alves bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Alves is looking to take a break and control but Yashigawa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Alves advances nicely into full mount.
