The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Andre swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Mitchel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
St Andre swings wildly with an uppercut but Mitchel uses good head movement to avoid it.
St Andre works on Mitchel's body with a couple of short punches.

Mitch Mitchel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mitchel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A nice combination there by St Andre.
St Andre tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mitchel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Mitchel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before St Andre can pounce on him.
Mitchel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
