Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Lindell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Barchitta! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lindell misses with a wild combination.
A jab-cross combination lands for Barchitta and sends Lindell crashing to the mat! Barchitta follows him down to the mat - Lindell regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Lindell is rocked!
It looks like Chuck Lindell has been cut. Lindell is holding on to half guard well. Oh Lindell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Lindell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barchitta is working away from the top position though. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Barchitta stands up from half guard. Lindell seems to have got his legs back now. Lindell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Barchitta tries to kick Lindell off but Lindell keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lindell content to control rather than advance. Barchitta is not content to let Lindell control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lindell decides to return to a standing position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Barchitta decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lindell pushes Barchitta off looking to stand but Barchitta dives back in and keeps control.

Lindell is trying to get back to full guard. Lindell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lindell tries to get out of the position. Lindell is breathing heavily. Barchitta postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lindell to stand up. Barchitta throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lindell counters with a nice body shot. Barchitta throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barchitta should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Barchitta misses with a takedown and Lindell counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Lindell shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barchitta's guard. Barchitta thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Lindell stands up from guard. Let's bang! The fight moves into the clinch position. Barchitta wants to break the clinch but can't.
Barchitta has had enough of the clinch but Lindell keeps him there for the moment. Barchitta is looking to break free of the clinch but Lindell has double underhooks. Barchitta lands a shoulder strike. Lindell keeps control of Barchitta as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Lindell tries to break the clinch but Barchitta is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lindell tries to break the clinch but Barchitta is controlling the position. Lindell has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Barchitta is trying to keep an underhook but Lindell manages to get the takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Barchitta looks like he's trying to stand up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lindell in particular looking to stall. Barchitta pushes Lindell off and gets back to his feet. Lindell sizes up Barchitta with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Barchitta is rocked! Lindell lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Barchitta falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
