The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
David shoots in and drives through. Koreshkov sprawls well.
Koreshkov digs a good body shot into David's ribs.
David clinches with his opponent.
David breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Koreshkov looks to land a body kick but David moved away.

David shoots in and bounces Koreshkov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Koreshkov wants to stand but David is controlling the position.
David stays in close to Koreshkov's body and controls the position.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
David slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Daniel David wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
David shoots in looking for a takedown. Koreshkov tries to sprawl out of it but David keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Koreshkov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel David. That's going to take a lot out of him.
David looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Koreshkov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koreshkov wants it to stay on the feet.
David is breathing heavily.
No joy there for Koreshkov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

David dives in and grabs Koreshkov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Koreshkov pushes down on David's head and hops out.

Koreshkov lands with a kick to the temple. David shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Koreshkov lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Oh David is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oooh a lovely combination from Koreshkov sends David down but not out. Koreshkov dives into side control looking to finish.
Koreshkov decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Koreshkov lands with a big left! David is wobbled badly! Koreshkov comes in with a flurry of punches and drops David to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Andrey Koreshkov!
Our winner, Andrey Koreshkov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
