The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donkey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Donkey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dray defends it nicely.
Dray stuffs the takedown.
Ricky Dray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Donkey.

Dray fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Donkey sprawls well initially but Dray persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Dray is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Donkey defends it well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Donkey can do anything to dispel that myth.
Donkey tries to get to full guard but Dray has control of the leg.
