Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a right and a left that both miss.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Bannnon enables Gracie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bannnon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bannnon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gracie won't allow Bannnon to sweep him here.
Bannnon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gracie stands up and waves to Bannnon to follow him.
Gracie closes the distance and pushes Bannnon back into the cage.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Gracie gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

and Bannnon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now.

Lee Bannnon dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Bannnon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracie won't be happy with that.
Bannnon decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Bannnon.
Gracie lands a right hook to the body.
Gracie drives through and clinches with Bannnon against the cage.
Bannnon has clasped his hands together around Gracie's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Gracie is pressing down on Bannnon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bannnon is holding on for now.
Bannnon wants to get back to his feet.
Gracie wants to stand up but Bannnon has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Bannnon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vinicius Gracie will probably get the nod.

Gracie wants to get up but he can't break Bannnon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Bannnon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vinicius Gracie.
