Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jew Doh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Mash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doh's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hurt - NIN. Mash comes into a darkened arena with his song building. North Dakota State Fight Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steve Mash! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mash drops Doh with a nice combination! Mash dives into Doh's guard, looking to finish!
Doh is rocked!
It looks like Jew Doh has been cut. Doh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mash's guard. Oh Doh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doh trying to control the position from guard on top but Mash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Doh missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mash can do anything to dispel that myth. Mash is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Doh seems to have got his legs back now. Mash looking to control.
Mash keeping full guard, as Doh tries to pass. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Doh's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Mash looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Doh looking to pass the guard. Doh thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doh preventing the sweep. Doh slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Mash managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Doh.
Mash stops Doh from passing to mount. Doh goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mash has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Doh but great work by Mash. Doh is not content to let Mash control the position. Doh tries to bench press Mash off him but Mash keeps the position. Doh is not content to let Mash control the position. Doh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Doh tries to buck Mash off but Mash is having none of it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Doh fails with the takedown. A punch combination from Doh misses. Doh is breathing heavily. Mash lands a lovely overhand right. Mash lands a with a good body shot. Doh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mash tries to avoid it but Doh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mash to the ground. Mash escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mash swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mash walks into a stiff left hand from Doh. Mash throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Doh slips under a jab. Doh fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jew Doh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice uppercut lands for Mash. That snapped Doh's head back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mash lands a jab to Doh's midsection. Doh takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Doh shoots in for a double leg but Mash sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mash wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Mash fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Doh on the side of the head. Doh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Doh takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Doh with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mash to score with a decent uppercut. Mash scores with a three punch combo!

Doh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mash pinned against the cage. Mash gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Steve Mash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Doh waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Mash.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mash keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mash throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Doh shoots in but Mash avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Left hook, right uppercut from Mash. Mash misses with a few strikes there.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Doh. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Mash misses with a two punch combination.
Doh staying out of range there. Doh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Mash throws a hook but Doh avoids it easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Doh shoots in but Mash avoids the takedown attempt easily. Doh fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mash lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Mash dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jew Doh's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Doh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mash throws out the jab. Doh fails with a takedown attempt. Mash misses with a jab, cross combination.
Doh takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Doh throws a hook but Mash blocks it. Doh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mash. Doh shoots in for a takedown but Mash shows good takedown defense. Doh fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jew Doh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mash swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mash changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Doh takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Mash uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Doh.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mash, as that shot connected.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mash takes a swing at Doh's ribcage but misses. Nice jab there from Mash. Mash fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Doh on the side of the head. Mash bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Doh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mash as he avoids it easily. Mash throws a right hand that Doh ducks under and follows up with a left that Doh also avoids with ease. Mash slips under a jab from Doh. Doh misses with a combination
enabling Mash to counter with a crisp jab. Mash swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mash keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Some wild striking there from Mash.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Doh takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Doh fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mash misses the shot to the body. Mash lands with an uppercut that bounces Doh off the cage and back into rage. Mash misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mash but Mash pushes him off and we're back to square one. Doh doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mash cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Doh slips a straight right by Mash. Mash fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Decent striking displayed by Mash there. Mash digs a good hook to Doh's body.
Doh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mash stuffs the takedown attempt from Doh. Doh gets slowly back to his feet. Mash throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mash takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Mash misses with a series of wild punches.
Doh fails with the takedown and Mash counters with a left to the body. Doh moves out of range of the strikes. Doh looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Mash moves out of range as Doh throws a body kick.
Doh scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Mash tries to bench press Doh off him but Doh keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Mash's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mash tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doh advances to full mount. Mash wants to hold on but Doh pushes him away. Doh misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Steve Mash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jew Doh's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Mash controls from within his opponent's guard. Doh keeping full guard, as Mash tries to pass. Mash trying to control but Doh is working from the bottom. Doh manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mash keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Doh working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Doh is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mash is surviving well by controlling Doh's body position as best he can. Doh prevents Mash from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Doh with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mash wants to hold on but Doh pushes him away. Mash might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Doh kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Mash wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Doh.
Doh throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mash because Doh loaded up on that one. Doh is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mash has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mash! Mash preventing the sweep. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Doh wants to hit a switch here but Mash passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Doh there! Jew Doh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mash controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Jew Doh showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mash has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
