Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ted Nugent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zell Dincht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nugent comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold, Ted Nugent. Dincht has chosen Fanfare as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ted Nugent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zell Dincht! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dincht jabs Nugent to the body, keeping him at a distance. Nugent misses with a shot to the body and Dincht connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dincht slips a jab from Nugent. Dincht avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Dincht checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nugent throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dincht tries to clinch but Nugent moves out of range. Dincht checks a leg kick. Dincht shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nugent sprawls well. Nugent wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dincht gets slowly back to his feet. Dincht takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Nugent looks to land a left hand but Dincht moved out of range nicely. Dincht staying out of range there. Dincht throws a combination. Nugent tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Ted Nugent has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Dincht moves out of range as Nugent strikes. A lazy left from Nugent finds it's target. Ted Nugent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nugent just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nugent scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Nugent takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nugent lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dincht will feel that in the morning. Nugent lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Dincht uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nugent.
Nugent misses with a lunging right hand
and Dincht counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nugent circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nugent swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dincht blocks a jab. Left hook, right uppercut from Nugent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nugent misses the shot to the body. Dincht throws a combination. Nugent tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Dincht shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dincht is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Nugent still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Nugent has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nugent fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Dincht is not content to let Nugent control the position. Dincht avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Nugent. Dincht can't do much from the bottom here. Nugent trying to control the action but Dincht is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dincht manages to get back to half guard. Nugent is thwarting Dincht's attempts to control the position. Nugent trying to mount his opponent but Dincht defends it. Nugent not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Nugent throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nugent is pressing down on Dincht's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dincht is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dincht keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Nugent not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Nugent is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dincht! Dincht wants to hold on but Nugent pushes him away. Nugent lands a nice shot to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nugent thowing shots but they're missing. Dincht in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ted Nugent dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ted Nugent's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Nugent throws a leg kick that is checked and Dincht counters with a left to the body. Dincht takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Dincht clinches with his opponent.
Dincht lands a nice shot to the body. Dincht is pressed up against the cage. Nugent has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dincht down to the mat. Dincht avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dincht pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nugent is out of range and Dincht settles back down. Dincht closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dincht lands in his opponent's guard. Nugent has his foot on Dincht's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dincht works his way back into a safe position though. Nugent looking for a guillotine here but Dincht defends easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dincht trying to control but Nugent is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dincht throws a big right hand that misses. Nugent working for a triangle but Dincht defends it easily.
Dincht passes Nugent's left leg - he's now in half guard. Dincht looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Nugent is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dincht has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nugent defend it? Dincht steps over the head and cranks it - Nugent is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Dincht!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zell Dincht! In his post fight interview, Zell Dincht started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
