Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce The Glow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Steele!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele wants to clinch but The Glow slips to the side
and The Glow counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Steele tries to clinch up
and The Glow counters with a nice uppercut.
The Glow pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A punch combination from Steele misses.
The Glow digs a good body shot into Steele's ribs.
The Glow misses with a body kick.
Steele closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Glow throws a wild body kick that Steele sees coming a mile off.
The Glow avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Steele takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Some wild striking there from Steele.
The Glow works Steele's body with a nice hook.
A nice inside leg kick there by The Glow. That's going to slow Steele down.
Steele looks winded!
The Glow cracks the inside of Steele's front leg.
Steele tries to clinch
and The Glow counters with a nice uppercut that drops Steele onto his backside! Steele bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.
It looks like Jack Steele has been cut.
The Glow drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Steele onto his butt! Steele pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Steele is rocked!
The Glow connects with a quick right hand that sends Steele tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Bruce The Glow!
After winning the bout, Bruce The Glow thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
