Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marko Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Fray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Fray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marko Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Fray!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fray throws a right hand that Khan ducks under and follows up with a left that Khan also avoids with ease.
Khan looks to clinch
and Fray counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fray takes the fight into the clinch.

Fray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fray.
Khan tries for a takedown but Fray circles away easily
and Fray counters with a right hand to the body.
Khan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Khan misses with a takedown

and Fray holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Fray wants to get back to striking at distance but Khan won't allow it.

Khan pulls guard successfully.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Fray trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Khan has his hands on Fray's head, controlling the position.
Khan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fray stands and steps away. Khan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Khan tries to keep at a distance but Fray has taken the fight into the clinch.

and Fray counters with a nice uppercut.

Khan falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Fray to counter with a crisp jab.

Khan gets tackled into the ropes by Fray. Fray maintains the clinch.
Fray is trying to break free.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khan can't find room to land a body shot as Fray controls the action.
Fray tries to stall but Khan uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Fray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fray swats away the attempt to clinch by Khan.
Fray avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan tries to clinch but Fray is having none of it.
Khan throws a right and a left that Fray avoids nicely.

Fray pushes Khan up against the ropes in a clinch.

Fray's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fray scores with a three punch combo!

Fray gets caught napping as Khan dives in and scores a takedown. Fray manages to retain guard.
Khan tries to free his leg and advance position but Fray is retaining full guard.

Fray working for a triangle but Khan defends it easily.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Khan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Khan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fray has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Khan has managed to get both his arms back between Fray's legs - danger averted.
Khan throws an elbow that misses. Fray uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Khan's guard. Nice move by Fray!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fray is fighting to break Khan's control of his arms but Khan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Fray has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Khan is proving hard to escape from.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jason Fray will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

and Fray counters with a one-two to the body.
Khan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Khan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fray throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Khan.
Khan throws a series of punches but Fray moves out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Khan 's head but he takes it in his stride.

The fight stays on the outside here - Khan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fray rushes Khan and presses him up against the ropes.

Fray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Khan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

No joy there for Fray, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fray is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Khan has his hands clasped together but Fray extends an breaks Khan's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Fray.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jason Fray!
A relieved looking Jason Fray thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
