The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pak throws a head kick but Fredrikson moves out of range.
Pak jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dae Jung Pak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fredrikson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fredrikson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fredrikson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pak's head backwards.
Pak misses with an uppercut. Fredrikson saw that one coming.
Pak throws a hook but Fredrikson avoids it easily.

Pak tries to bum rush Fredrikson with a series of wild strikes but Fredrikson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pak uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fredrikson.
Pak is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fredrikson.

Pak pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fredrikson back to the cage. Pak follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Fredrikson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pak swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fredrikson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pak pushes Fredrikson off looking to stand but Fredrikson dives back in and keeps control.

and Fredrikson counters with a shoot takedown. Pak fights it but they end up in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pak looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fredrikson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pak's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fredrikson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pak is trying to escape the mount but Fredrikson keeps good control and instead manages to take Pak's back.
Pak just trying to survive but Fredrikson is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fredrikson is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Pak just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Fredrikson has gone limp and this one is over!

Dae Jung Pak really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that CEC Nutrition Q160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
