Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Chowmein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chowmein has chosen The Fight Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brian King has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Chowmein! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King moves into the clinch. King is trying to break the clinch but Chowmein has him pressed against the cage. King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chowmein shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Chowmein keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Chowmein misses with a few strikes there.

and Chowmein moves into the clinch. King throws an elbow that misses.

King is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Chowmein turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chowmein manages to end up in side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. King is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Chowmein asserts his dominance and retains side control. King is looking to regain half guard here but Chowmein keeps moving and retains side control. King striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chowmein is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. King throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
King manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Chowmein is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
King is trying to get back to full guard. Chowmein trying to mount his opponent but King defends it. Chowmein scoring with strikes to the body and head. Chowmein is keen to just control but King is a slippery customer. Chowmein with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. King manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's two minutes gone in the round. King closes the distance and clinches. Chowmein manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Brian King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stan Chowmein. Chowmein tries to score a body lock takedown but King shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Chowmein has clasped his hands together around King's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. King throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Chowmein walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. King forces Chowmein back against the cage and clinches. King wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Chowmein is trying to drag King to the mat but King just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. and Chowmein counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chowmein wants to clinch. King throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Chowmein holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chowmein scores a nice knee to the body.
Chowmein crunches a lovely knee into King's ribcage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chowmein tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. King just stands there and leans against the cage. Chowmein tries for a takedown. No joy.
King wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Brian King will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Chowmein shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Chowmein's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. King lands an overhand right. Chowmein shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense. King shoots in looking for a takedown but Chowmein manages to keep the fight standing, pushing King's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. King shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chowmein as he jumps to the side. King swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
King closes the distance and clinches. With the two fighters working up against the cage, King just misses with a elbow thrown towards Chowmein's brow. King tries to circle away but Chowmein has him pinned against the cage. King is trying to break the clinch but Chowmein has him pressed against the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chowmein tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chowmein jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as King walks away with a smile on his face. Chowmein gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Chowmein fails in his attempt to clinch. King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. King fails with a takedown attempt. King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chowmein sprawls well. Chowmein wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet. Chowmein shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense. The fight moves into the clinch position. Chowmein utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Chowmein pulls King into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chowmein will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
King wants to stand but Chowmein has a closed guard, so he can't escape. King is fighting to break Chowmein's control of his arms but Chowmein is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Chowmein pushes King off and scrambles back to his feet.
King darts in and clinches Chowmein up against the cage. Chowmein has dropped down and is working for a takedown. King is trying to keep an underhook but Chowmein manages to get the takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King tries to roll over but Chowmein keeps him under control. Chowmein stalling. King has one foot on Chowmein's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. King closes the distance and pushes Chowmein back into the cage. Chowmein jumps into guard, dragging King to the mat.
Chowmein wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Chowmein manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. King manages to get himself to full guard.
Chowmein slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chowmein won't allow King to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King is working an open guard so Chowmein takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. King tries to bum rush Chowmein with a series of wild strikes but Chowmein uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Chowmein wants to clinch and King counters with a shoot takedown. Chowmein fights it but they end up in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! King trying to stand up but can't free himself from Chowmein's guard. Chowmein is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. King would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Chowmein seems keen to control King's posture. King wants to stand and escape but instead Chowmein has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! King throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. King tries to strike from the bottom.

King wants to get back to his feet but Chowmein is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Chowmein wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. Stan Chowmein has got the better of the ground game so far. King throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King is pushing Chowmein's head away, looking to escape. Chowmein manages to hold on to the position though. Chowmein decides to take the fight back to the feet. Chowmein shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chowmein showed some decent athleticism there.
And that's the end of the fight! Stan Chowmein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Chowmein has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
