The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason moves out of range of the strikes.
Diza lands a nice hook to Mason's body. Mason takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A slow jab from Diza misses its intended target.

Mason is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Jerome Diza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Mason.

Mason takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Mason on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Diza cracks Mason with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Mason throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Diza's head.
Mason with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diza to score with a decent uppercut.

Scott Mason is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Diza is looking to wear down Mason with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Diza counters with a crisp one two that drops Mason! Diza thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mason to his feet! Mason is in big trouble!

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Diza engages and cracks Mason with a massive lead left hook - Mason tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Diza is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
