Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Reign (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reign comes into the arena with Racoon - No mercy blaring out of the sound system. Dylan Carson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carson misses with a body shot
and Reign makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Carson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Carson throws a jab but it's blocked by Reign.
Carson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A good leg kick by Carson.
Carson tries to score with a low kick but Reign moves his leg out of the way.
Reign lunges at Carson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Carson's hand.

Reign avoids the body shot from Carson.
Reign feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Reign catches Carson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Carson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Reign on the side of the head.

Reign wants to clinch up but Carson keeps it at a distance.

Carson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reign stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Carson throws out a powerful jab.
Reign shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carson's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Reign is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carson throws a hook to the side of Reign's head but Reign sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Reign takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Carson feints and then cracks Reign's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reign down.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

No joy there for Reign, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reign throws a lazy right hand but Carson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

A close round but Dylan Carson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Reign is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carson.

The fighters circle momentarily. Reign darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Carson shoots in looking for a takedown but Reign manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Carson throws a solid leg kick but Reign takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Carson.
Sloppy strikes from Reign. Those never looked like landing.

Carson drops his hands momentarily and Reign takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Carson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I would just about give that final round to Dylan Carson.
I think Carson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
