Weebalos has chosen Big Sean - Guap as his entrance music. Duke Weebalos has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rony Jones's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rony Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Duke Weebalos!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance and pushes Weebalos back into the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Weebalos.
Weebalos tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Jones with an attempt at a knee that misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jones just misses with a elbow thrown towards Weebalos's brow.
Weebalos drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Weebalos works on Jones's body with a couple of short punches.
Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jones misses with a hook to the ribs.
Weebalos prevents Jones from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Weebalos blocks a body shot from Jones.
Jones has clasped his hands together around Weebalos's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Weebalos is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it.
Weebalos holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Jones tries to stand but Weebalos is controlling his head.
Weebalos tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Weebalos is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jones off and has taken his back!
Weebalos throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Weebalos is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jones has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Weebalos has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jones taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Weebalos doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Duke Weebalos!
