7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Kenny! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quijote swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nice straight punches there by Quijote. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Quijote. Kenny doesn't manage to clinch there - Quijote circles away.
Kenny fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Quijote, pushing him back against the cage. Kenny missing with knees to the body.
Kenny's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fight stays on the outside here - Kenny looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kenny tries to bum rush Quijote with a series of wild strikes but Quijote uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Quijote swings widly with a right hand
and Kenny counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Quijote misses with a wild combination.
Quijote circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Quijote to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenny tries to clinch up but Quijote circles away and keeps his distance. Kenny dodges the punch combination from Quijote.
Kenny drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kenny digs a good hook to Quijote's body.
Nice defenses there by Kenny. Kenny scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Don Quijote has been cut. Kenny moves to clinch but Quijote breaks away and Kenny takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jackson Kenny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kenny throws a one two combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kenny looks to clinch and Quijote connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kenny looks to land a combination but Quijote avoids it well. Quijote throws a shot to the body.
Kenny steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Quijote. Quijote throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kenny tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kenny tries to clinch there but Quijote circles away.
Quijote throws a lazy uppercut
and Kenny counters with a left and a right that stings Quijote. The fight stays on the outside here - Kenny looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Quijote throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kenny counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenny slips under a jab from Quijote. Kenny tries to clinch but Quijote moves out of range. Quijote misses with a lunging right hand
and as Quijote loses concentration momentarily, Kenny counters with a picture perfect head kick! Quijote goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jackson Kenny! Jackson Kenny was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
