Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darren Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feng Kai Hao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hao has chosen Year of the Dragon as his entrance music. Feng Kai Hao has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Darren Wong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darren Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Feng Kai Hao! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hao lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hao misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hao displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wong. Wong shoots in looking for a takedown but Hao manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wong's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Wong misses with a body shot.
Hao moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Hao misses with a wild combination.
Wong shoots in for a double leg but Hao sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Wong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hao tries a head kick but it misses.
Hao swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hao clinches up with Wong and pushes him back against the cage. Wong manages to break the clinch.
Wong shoots in and bounces Hao off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Wong looking to sit in guard and control but Hao gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hao tries to stand but Wong is controlling from the bottom. Wong wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Hao trying to control the position from guard on top but Wong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wong is looking for a triangle but Hao pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hao wants to control from the top but Wong keeps moving. Wong looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Hao lands a couple of elbows. Wong seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Hao loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hao wants to control from the top but Wong keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hao's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hao duly obliges. Wong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hao tries to avoid it but Wong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hao to the ground. Hao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hao. Wong slips a jab and a cross from Hao.
Wong fails with a takedown attempt. Hao stalks Wong and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wong's face. Wong staggers backwards, shaken. Feng Kai Hao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from Wong. No joy for Hao on that attempt. Wong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wong is breathing heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hao is defended easily by Wong. Hao scores with a hook to the body. Wong takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Hao scores with a four punch combination! Hao shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wong pinned against the cage. Wong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hao avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wong misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hao misses with a jab, cross combination.

Feng Kai Hao dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Feng Kai Hao seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wong misses with a double jab.
Wong misses with a takedown attempt - Hao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hao looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wong is fending him off so far but Hao persists. Nope, Wong circles away and we're back to standing. Hao stalks Wong and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Hao fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wong, pushing him back against the cage. Wong gets control of Hao's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wong will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Hao trying to control but Wong is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hao trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hao in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hao decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hao fails to land with a series of punches.
Wong looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hao is fending him off so far but Wong persists. Nope, Hao circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hao scores with a nice right hand.

Hao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hao wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Wong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hao drives through and clinches with Wong against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wong is trying to trip Hao. He has hold of a leg but Hao is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wong persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Wong trying to control but Hao is working from the bottom. Hao has his feet on Wong's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Donk. Hao catches Wong right on the button with a cross. Wong fails with the takedown. Hao drives through and clinches with Wong against the cage.
Hao has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Wong is trying to trip Hao. He has hold of a leg but Hao is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wong persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hao is looking to stand up but Wong isn't so interested in that idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wong is looking to pass into half guard but Hao pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hao is in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hao trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wong is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hao working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hao tries to free his leg and advance position but Wong is retaining full guard. Wong throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy. Hao stands up over Wong, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hao throws a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wong wants to stand up but Hao is controlling him. Hao missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wong utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wong trying to strike off his back.
Hao passes into half guard. Hao is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wong is trying to control but Hao passes into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Feng Kai Hao showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Wong manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hao on his heels. He'll look to pass Hao's guard now, I'm sure. Hao is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wong is controlling him. Wong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hao swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wong is looking to advance position but Hao has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hao tries to control but Wong wriggling away. Hao throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Hao lands a big shot there that rocks Wong but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hao blocks Wong's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Hao landing strikes, looking to finish! Hao wants to control the pace but Wong is squirming around nicely. Hao looking to finish Wong with some ground and pound. This is bad for Wong! Wong tries to hold on but Hao pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wong's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hao unloads with some shots from mount but Wong bucks and avoids them well.
Hao thowing shots but they're missing. Hao landing punches. Wong is trying desperately to improve position. Hao trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hao thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Darren Wong has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hao wants to control the pace but Wong is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wong is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hao thowing shots but they're missing. Hao breaks from Wong's wrist control and lands an elbow. Feng Kai Hao is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Feng Kai Hao has got the better of the ground game so far. Hao trying to control but Wong is having none of it. Wong is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hao looking to control and managing it successfully. Hao throws some wild stikes that Wong manages to avoid easily.
Wong wants to hold on but Hao pushes him away. Hao looking to control but Wong is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hao goes for an armbar but Wong turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Wong. Wong throws a strike but Hao rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that's the end of the fight! Feng Kai Hao comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hao has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Feng Kai Hao! A very excited looking Feng Kai Hao rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
