Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nico Filipou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Hawking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nico Filipou! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stephen Hawking! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawking gets caught napping as Filipou dives in and scores a takedown. Hawking manages to retain guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Filipou is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Filipou gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. No luck for Filipou with that takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hawking. Hawking tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hawking tests Filipou's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Filipou shoots in for a double leg but Hawking sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hawking misses the jab. Hawking is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hawking shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Filipou but Filipou pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawking changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Filipou tries to avoid it but Hawking manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Filipou to the ground. Filipou escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nico Filipou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Hawking. Filipou keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Filipou fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hawking gets tackled into the cage by Filipou. Filipou maintains the clinch. Filipou tries to break free but Hawking pushes him back against the cage. Hawking wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Filipou has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hawking regains guard immediately. Filipou slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawking looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hawking can't keep his opponent in guard - Filipou advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hawking wants to get back to his feet. Hawking tries to get to full guard but Filipou has control of the leg. Filipou is trying to work for a kimura but Hawking is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Filipou slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawking is trying to control but Filipou manages to pass to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawking wants to control but Filipou is having none of it. Hawking reaches up to try and control the position but Filipou seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Hawking rolls and tries to escape and now Filipou has his back!
Hawking covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Filipou could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawking is really stuck here.
Hawking controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Filipou throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Filipou keeps control of the position easily here as Hawking tries to buck him off.
Hawking is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Filipou has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Filipou patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nico Filipou dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Filipou drives through with a takedown into guard. Filipou sitting in guard here, content to control. Hawking really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Filipou. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hawking is trying to hold Filipou in close to prevent damage but Filipou has managed to pass into half guard.
Hawking is looking to improve his position.
Filipou missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hawking is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Filipou has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Hawking is tapping! This fight is all over!
