Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Probert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Higginson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Higginson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Higginson throws a body kick that misses.
Higginson wants to clinch up but Probert keeps it at a distance.
Probert moves out of range as Higginson strikes.

and Probert counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Probert lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Matt Higginson has been cut.
Bob Probert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bob Probert took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I'm lucky to win this one. He's a tough guy, I'm not very good, but I got lucky.'.
