The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartnell lands a two punch combo.
Hartnell blocks a head kick by Khoury.
Hartnell swats away the attempt to clinch by Khoury.
Khoury throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Hartnell misses with a double jab.

Hartnell sizes up Khoury with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hartnell cracks Khoury with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Norman Hartnell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hartnell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Khoury moves away.
Khoury throws a good cross that connects.
Hartnell lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Khoury backs up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hartnell lands with a straight right. Khoury didn't see that one coming.

Hartnell throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Khoury crashing down! Khoury tries to stagger back to his feet but Hartnell just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Khoury asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
