Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Sparger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clayton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Want It All. Sparger comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Smooth Criminal by Alien Ant Farm kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ethan Clayton had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ethan Clayton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Sparger! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clayton throws a leg kick but Sparger sees it coming and checks it nicely. A big left from Clayton misses. Sparger looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Rob Sparger has been cut. Sparger misses the shot to the body. Clayton throws the left hand but Sparger avoids the punch easily. Sparger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Clayton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ethan Clayton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. An inside leg kick lands from Clayton. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clayton throws a body punch but Sparger moves out of range. Clayton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Clayton is looking to chop away at Sparger's legs. Clayton turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Clayton finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sparger fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clayton walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sparger checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Good work by Sparger as he checks the leg kick. Sparger throws an overhand right that lands on Clayton's shoulder, as Clayton tries to avoid the shot. Clayton connects with a leg kick. Sparger looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Clayton lands a nice hook to Sparger's body. Sparger takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Sparger looks winded! Clayton throws a right hand that Sparger ducks under and follows up with a left that Sparger also avoids with ease. Clayton has a takedown stuffed. Sparger looks to land a left hand but Clayton moved out of range nicely. Clayton scoring well with a low kick there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sparger on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Clayton. Clayton obviously looking to wear him down.
Clayton moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Sparger goes down! Can Clayton finish him!?
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Clayton works over Sparger with some ground and pound from guard. Clayton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sparger is keeping the position for now. Clayton forces his way into half guard. Clayton missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Clayton not landing any meaningful shots this time. Clayton throwing shots but Sparger is blocking nicely. Clayton thows a huge punch but Sparger dodges it nicely.
Sparger pushes Clayton off looking to stand but Clayton dives back in and keeps control.
Clayton trying to control the action but Sparger is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clayton missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Clayton connects with a nice short shot to Sparger's temple.
That has opened up Rob Sparger's cut even more. Sparger blocking the ground and pound attempt from Clayton. Clayton passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sparger! Clayton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Poor strikes thrown by Clayton there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clayton looking to finish with strikes here!
Clayton cracks Sparger with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sparger is squirming around, avoiding Clayton's attempts to control the action. Clayton thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Clayton lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Rob Sparger's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rob Sparger's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ethan Clayton! After the big win, Ethan Clayton made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Just Fight (Shirt 6$ Shorts 8$) and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
