Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Turns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Turns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Will Coleman! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Coleman looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Turns rushes Coleman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Coleman has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Turns after a bit of a struggle. Coleman breaks from the clinch.
Coleman looks to land a body kick but Turns moved away. Coleman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Coleman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Turns counter with a right hand. Coleman dodges the punch combination from Turns.
Coleman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Turns paws at him with a jab and circles away. Turns has a takedown stuffed. No luck with that takedown attempt from Turns.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman has a takedown stuffed. Coleman fails with a takedown attempt. John Turns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Coleman. Coleman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Coleman looks to score with a jab to the body but Turns is just out of range. Will Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Coleman feints and as Turns raises his hands in defense, Coleman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Coleman wants to control from the top but Turns keeps moving. Turns striking off his back but it's not causing Coleman any problems.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman gets to his feet. Turns looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Turns instigates a clinch. Coleman tries for a takedown. No joy.
Coleman prevents Turns from breaking the clinch. Coleman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Turns pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Turns defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Coleman. Coleman looks winded! Nice takedown defense from Coleman. No joy for Turns on that attempt. Turns gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Turns jumps into guard, dragging Coleman to the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman stops Turns from standing up. Turns knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coleman on the ground. Coleman stopping the sweep attempt from Turns. Coleman stands up and waves to Turns to follow him. Turns fails with an attempt to clinch.

Coleman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Coleman uses his free foot to push down on Turns's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Turns. Turns tries to get back to half guard but can't. Turns might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Coleman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Turns can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Turns throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Coleman. Turns has closed the distance and engaged Coleman in a clinch.
Turns gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Coleman.
A short right from Coleman on the inside. Turns is trying to break the clinch but Coleman has him pressed against the cage. Turns has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Turns looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Turns wants to get back to striking at distance but Coleman won't allow it.

Turns is fighting to maintain full guard but Coleman has managed to sneak the leg through. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Will Coleman. Coleman shoots in for a takedown but Turns shows good takedown defense.

Coleman takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Some wild striking there from Turns.
Turns tries to clinch up but Coleman circles away and keeps his distance. Coleman misses with a body shot.
Turns scores with a one two! Coleman had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Coleman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Turns on his heels. He'll look to pass Turns's guard now, I'm sure. Turns wants to get back to his feet but Coleman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Coleman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Turns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Coleman somewhat. John Turns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Coleman. A head kick misses from Coleman. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coleman slips a jab from Turns. Coleman has a takedown stuffed. That's going to take a lot out of Will Coleman. Coleman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Turns scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Coleman doesn't seem bothered though. Turns shoots in for a double leg but Coleman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Turns tries to clinch up. Coleman is looking to clinch. Coleman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Turns shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Coleman eats them both and turns towards Turns to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Turns wants to clinch. A left and a right from Turns both land. Nice combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turns lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Coleman circles away quickly and effectively. Turns lands a two punch combo.
Coleman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Coleman tries to clinch up but Turns circles away and keeps his distance. Coleman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Coleman showed some decent athleticism there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coleman trying to control from half guard but Turns is working away. Will Coleman has got the better of the ground game so far.

Coleman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turns keeps working.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Will Coleman. Coleman shoots for a double leg takedown but Turns sprawls well. Coleman is fending him off so far but Turns persists. Nope, Coleman circles away and we're back to standing. John Turns is winning the standup battle so far.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Will Coleman. I've got Coleman winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
