Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tourney Champ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Schall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin Schall will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tourney Champ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Martin Schall! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Champ swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Schall makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Schall looks to land a combination. Champ sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Tourney Champ has been cut. Schall dives in and scores a takedown into Champ's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Champ is looking for a triangle here but Schall uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Champ tries to get back to half guard but can't. Champ wants to get back to his feet but Schall drags him back down. Champ can't do much from the bottom here. Schall decides to stand back up. Schall steps back and let's Champ get back to his feet. Schall has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Champ. The fight stays on the outside here - Champ looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schall defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Champ. Schall throws a right and a left that Champ avoids nicely. Champ misses with a shot to the body and Schall counters with a takedown into side control. Champ is trying to get back to his feet. Schall controlling the position. Schall decides to stand back up. Schall steps back and let's Champ get back to his feet. Schall throws a low kick but it's checked well by Champ. Schall walks into a left hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Schall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Champ but Champ pushes him off and we're back to square one. Champ closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Champ is pushing Schall up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Champ lands with a light punch inside. Champ breaks the clinch.
Champ tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Champ misses with a straight right. Champ gets a clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Champ. Champ keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Schall's efforts to push away. Schall pushes off an throws an elbow but Champ leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Champ swings wildly with an uppercut but Schall uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schall tries to break the clinch but Champ is controlling the position. Schall jumps guard but Champ stands there with Schall around his waist. Schall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Schall is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Champ to keep the fight standing. Tourney Champ has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Schall. Champ swings wildly with an uppercut but Schall uses good head movement to avoid it. A shot in the inside from Champ. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Champ. Champ tries a knee to the head but Schall blocks it.
Schall tries to work over Champ's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Champ breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tourney Champ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schall moves into the clinch.

Schall blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Schall digs a right hand into Champ's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Champ's gas tank. Schall tries to pull guard but Champ holds him up against the cage and eventually Schall drops back down to his feet.

Schall tries to break free but Champ pushes him back against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A short uppercut from Champ. This has been an exciting period of action! Schall tries to circle away but Champ has him pinned against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Champ pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Schall shoots in and drives through. Champ sprawls well. Schall has a takedown stuffed. An inside leg kick from Schall misses. Champ has Schall up against the cage in a clinch.
Champ pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Schall shoots in but no luck this time. Tourney Champ has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Schall. Schall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Champ instigates a clinch. Champ misses with a hook from the clinch. Champ fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Champ has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Schall avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Champ displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Schall. Schall doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Champ swinging wildly here.
Champ connects with a crisp jab. Schall closes the distance and pushes Champ back into the cage. Champ lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Champ. A head punch on the inside from Champ fails to land. Champ tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Champ tries to pull guard but Schall won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Champ tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Champ lands with a short shot to the head. Champ tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Schall's elbow. A short left from Champ. Champ is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Champ scores with a shoulder strike. Schall is trying to pull guard but Champ turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Champ struggles to land a body shot inside as Schall controls his hands.
Champ misses with a short punch on the inside. Champ's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schall blocks an uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! Tourney Champ showed his dominance in that final round. I think Champ has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
