The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gadget uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Son.
Son avoids the head kick by Gadget.
Son bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Son dodges the punch combination from Gadget.
Gadget throws a head kick but Son moves out of range.
Son tries to clinch there but Gadget circles away.
Son throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gadget is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Son.
It looks like Inspectah Gadget has been cut.

Gadget displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Son throws out the jab.

Gray Son seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Son tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gadget paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Son lunges at Gadget with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gadget's hand.
Son doesn't manage to clinch there - Gadget circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Son creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gadget's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gadget drops to his knees and Son pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
